A good study environment is a priority at Business Academy Southwest, and this is true not only when it comes to our classes, but also when it comes to your spare time. This is why we have the most satisfied students in Denmark – for seven years running.
You have a close relationship with our tutors. We have classrooms of 20-30 students, in which the education takes place. This enables us to answer any questions you might have, about anything that you are uncertain about.
Often our teaching is a combination of short presentations from the tutor and assignments. Many of our tutors also make use of what is called the flipped classroom, which means that you stay at home and watch a video with a presentation from the tutor. Later on there will be discussion of the covered topic in the classroom.
When you are not in the classroom, you can easily find somewhere at our academy where you can work together with the other students.

Our canteen is called Café Healthy Study and offers breakfast, lunch or a bite to eat if you are feeling just a little bit hungry.
Our bar is open on Thursdays and Fridays and is a nice place to relax in the afternoon. You can play table tennis, pool, table football or beer pong. The bar is also where the Academy’s parties take place, and, if your class comes up with a good idea for an event, you are welcome to talk to the staff in the bar. The bar is run by students who volunteer for the job – maybe you would like to get involved?
Follow what goes on in the bar at Facebook.

Our tutors make use of cross-disciplinary projects in collaboration with other courses. This means that our students get as close to reality as possible.

— Astrid tells why she has chosen to study at Business Academy SouthWest
The Student Board (TSB) consists of representatives from the individual educations, representatives from the management and student counselors.
The primary task for TSB at Business Academy South West is, among other things, to establish, develop and maintain a good social study environment across educations and semesters. This is done through the planning of academic and social events for all students, e.g. lectures, parties, intro week, etc. We therefore want to involve the students and give you the opportunity to improve both the social, but also the opportunity for professional collaboration across the educations.
TSB also acts as a voice for the students and can provide input into economics, facilities and social conditions.
In TSB, you as a student have the opportunity to make your mark on the study environment at EASV. If TSB think they know how the study environment could be different or strengthened, we would love to hear from you. You do this by, among other things, putting your own projects in the lake. If you have an idea for a project that you would like to implement, we would like to contribute good advice and financial support.
The financial support includes of an annual grant provided by the Ministry of Education and Research to the Institutional Student Board (TSB).
The projects must help achieve the following objectives:
- Activities that strengthen social cohesion and engagement in education or across campus
- Activities that enhance professional development across the educations, e.g. extra-curricular presentations or events
- Activities that strengthen understanding and interaction between Danish and international students
TSB meets twice per semester and can have meetings without the attendance of the campus manager and student counselor if student representatives wishes this.
The Board works with:
- Social environment and study environment
- Marketing of Business Academy South West to future students
- Marketing of study abroad
- Satisfaction measurements and study quality
- Party committees, event committees, etc. can be created under the responsibility of TSB.
