Module "Legal Issues in Offshore Wind Industry" starts in May

22.02.2019

Following the successful launch of the first two modules of the Offshore Wind Energy MBA in January, the next module will address a wide range of legal issues in the offshore wind industry. With Dr. Ursula Prall, lawyer and chairwoman of the Foundation OFFSHORE-WINDENERGIE, a highly reputable industry expert coaches the participants.

In the module “Legal Issues in Offshore Wind Industry”, the participants, all working in the branche, will gain a basic understanding of the differences in national legal systems in the North Sea region and their impact on the management of an offshore wind farm. It helps to avoid foreseeable legal issues in jurisdictions relevant to their companies and raises awareness of when it is necessary to consult a lawyer to make right decision.

Besides Dr. Ursula Prall, Partner and Offshore Expert at BBH Hamburg, also Dr. Jan-Dirk kleine Holthaus, managing director and attorney-at-law at EWE Offshore Service & Solutions GmbH, will be supporting the students with practical expert knowledge. “We are very pleased to have won this teaching team for our participants, as they are confronted daily with legal issues in offshore wind parks and will convey this practical knowledge in an exciting way”, says Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Lukas, Project Manager of the Offshore Wind Energy MBA Development at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven.

Registration is possible until April 11th, 2019, more information is available at owemba.com
